10 Things

10 Things You May Not Know About Bailey:
1. Bailey turned 10 months old on December 13th!
2. She pulls herself up to stand and wants to walk around (with our help, of course) and investigate everything. She just started standing by herself. She is very brave and sometimes makes us a little nervous.
3. She does a great motor boat sound.
4. She criscrosses her ankles and feet--so sweet.
5. She says dada, mama, nana, papa, baba and babbles away.
6. She loves to eat especially pears, clementines, and veggies (unlike her dad). She'll go for green no matter what else is on her tray. She also loves to get the ice out of my glass.
7. She usually eats with her left hand. Both Grandpa and Papa Tom are lefties!
8. She has started to kick things while she is walking around--maybe she'll be a soccer player???
9. She loves to laugh (and make us laugh), clap, and get tickled--her feet are really ticklish.
10. She just started telling us "more" in sign language.

She is into everything! It is hard to tell, but Bailey is standing on her tiptoes in this picture.

She also loves to play in the dishwasher and pull the silverware out of the basket. I have to make sure she only plays with the spoons!

Happy Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for!

We enjoyed spending a few days with the Carnes family. We were spoiled with delicious food, lots of laughter, playing Nerts, and golf. We figured out that Patti is the master Nerts player. Bailey thought Craig and Chad were so funny as you can see in the videos. Bailey loved her first Thanksgiving and ate some turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, and zucchini slippers. She also got to taste some cherry pie and loved the cool whip (lip-smacking good!).

The last picture is Bailey walking on the ceiling. Craig used to let me walk on the ceiling when I was little, and we had to pass the tradition on to her. Thank you, Patti and Craig for making Bailey's first Thanksgiving so special. We love you!

The Last Few Days

9 Months Old

I've been taking Bailey's picture each month with the same outfit on to show her growth. This month, she did not want to lay on her back for 2 seconds...

...so we have some sitting up pictures instead.

Bailey's first taste of Malibu Yo. Delicious!!!

9 months old! Bailey started crawling and is into everything--anything she can reach, pull on, pull up on--everything! She is discovering all kinds of fun things. She loves pulling open the oven drawer and opening all of the kitchen cabinets. I have a drawer full of spoons, cups, and lids for her to play with in the kitchen. She also wants to stand up all the time. She is waving hello and pointing at things and she just started clapping on Wednesday. She wants to feed herself and shakes her head no if she doesn't want something. We took her to Malibu Yogurt on Tuesday night and she got to have a taste. She loved it of course and wanted more. She is so much fun!

On the Move!

Bailey started crawling last week! She is on the move and is enjoying exploring.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from our Little Lamb! Daddy carved an awesome pumpkin this afternoon and then we went to a neighborhood Halloween party. Bailey loved seeing all of the kids in their costumes and didn't mind wearing hers one bit! Thanks to Nana for making her costume--she was the cutest!!

Albuquerque

We had a wonderful, but quick trip to Albuquerque over the weekend. We enjoyed time with our families, some friends, and a trip to the McCall's Pumpkin Patch. We really enjoyed the fall weather. When we left Monday morning, it was just barely snowing in Albuquerque and when we flew into LA it was 85 degrees!

We had to try on part of Bailey's Halloween costume. So cute!
