Happy Halloween!

We have the cutest little ladybug! Thank you Nana for making Bailey's costume!
On Thursday night, we went to the Carnifall at Pepperdine. They had trunk or treat, fun games, yummy treats, bouncers, and square dancing. We had so much fun!
Thank you Nana and Papa for the Halloween stickers!

Sweet, silly girl
We'll get some more pictures up soon from Halloween. Just for fun~our little pumpkin's first Halloween.

20 Months

Bailey is 20 (and a half) months old! She continues to be so much fun and brings so much joy to our lives. She also continues to be a busy bee. She is into everything--literally (see her in the suitcase?). The other day she pulled out all of her stuffed animals, books, and baskets in her room and made a huge mess. She tells me, "Mess, Mommy!" Luckily she also likes to clean up!
Bailey loves to buckle (unbuckling is much more frustrating).
She still loves to read!
One evening, I came upstairs to find Bailey and Daddy playing in a pile of shoes. Bailey would go in our closet, get out a pair of shoes, and then want to try them on. Funny girl!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Evelyn! Bailey loved the ice cream and ride in the carriage.
Here is our little somersaulter!
We have several favorite Bailey sayings right now:
"Daddy/Mommy where are you?"
"C'mon Daddy/Mommy"
"Daddy/Mommy sit" and she pats the floor next to her
"Knuckles!"

She loves to eat "cancacope" (cantaloupe), "Krispies" (Rice Krispies cereal), and anything with "Dippy!" (any sauce she can dip her food in).

Bailey loves to sing and will sing her own songs. Sometimes we can figure out what she is singing, and other times we have no idea.
We love you, Bailey Lynn!

Wedding Week

Bailey and I headed to Albuquerque early before Thomas' sister, Katie, got married last Saturday. What a great week we had! We loved spending time with our family and friends! **This post has lots of pictures!
Nana pulled out a box full of fun dress up things--necklaces, bracelets, scarves, and "blankets".
Reading to Baby
"Baby eat" was what Bailey said throughout the week. She even shared her snack with Baby.
Bailey helped Nana and Papa feed Dakota everyday. We would have to remind her that Dakota only ate breakfast and dinner and that she couldn't feed her all day long.
Bailey also gave Dakota treats after she finished her breakfast, dinner, and anytime she could sneak into the pantry and grab a bone! :) We had no idea that Dakota was in her last week of life. She played and acted like she always did, the sweet dog that she was. My parents had to put her to sleep on Friday morning after her back legs gave out and she couldn't move at all. We had Dakota for 11 years and she was such a good dog. We loved that she would sleep in, get the newspaper, cuddle up next to you, and chase a ball forever. Kota Girl, we miss you!
We headed out to the McCall's Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday and had so much fun! Bailey loved the general store and could have played with the fruit and veggies all morning.
Ethan, Shane and Jessie met us there and Bailey jumped right in their wagon.
Whee--down the slide with Jessie!
Ready to drive the big tractor

This is a sneak peak at Bailey's Halloween costume. Thank you to Nana who made such a cute ladybug!
