January

January seemed to go by so quickly!
Cassia is one of Bailey's favorite people to take
a picture of!
Bailey took this picture of Thomas on a Saturday morning while he was doing yard work.  I'm not quite sure why I love this picture, but maybe it's because I love this man and the fact that he's willing to get his hands dirty and works so hard to provide for our family.  I love you so much, Thomas!
What do I love to do?  Sleep!
Our girls in their first matching outfits!  Thanks, Nana!
Here they are in their comfy pajamas--thank you Aunt Mar and Uncle Donnie!
We're back to being awake early in the morning and watching the sun rise.  It's truly beautiful especially over the ocean.
Hanging out together is what we do best!
Cassia in her crib--she's napping in it sometimes and is enjoying looking at her mobile!
Hmm...another picture in our pjas.  We like to be comfy and these girls are extra cute in the mornings! :)
Close up!  These cheeks are just so perfect to kiss!
Bailey loves going to CBS on Tuesday mornings.  Here is her latest song:

3 Months Old!

Cassia turned 3 months old on January 6th.  She has filled out even more and we could tell her hair was growing while we were in NM.  She started sleeping better at night and was just getting up once during the night (although that didn't last very long!).
Cassia loves to be held, loves to be swaddled, loves to swing, and loves to watch what is going on around her.  She's still not a huge fan of her car seat, but we're hoping that will pass.
She does a little chuckle in her sleep sometimes. She's starting to smile more.  She's just plain sweet!
She's grown so much since she was born!
Here she is at 8 days old!

Albuquerque Wrap up

We headed over to Aunt Mar and Uncle Donnie's house for dinner one evening.  Great food, great company, and a little more time with Aunt Jo before she headed back to Carolina.
Cassia made herself right at home!
Masha, Great Grandma and Cassia (and a funny chicken)
Thomas, Cassia, Aunt Jo, Grandpa,
Great Grandma, and Bailey
Four Generations!
The city view from Mar and Don's backyard is
pretty spectacular day or night!  This picture
 doesn't really do it justice.
Papa has found a puzzle buddy!
It was really cold in New Mexico but only snowed one day that we were there.  In town, we told Bailey to hurry and get her snow gear on so they could build a snowman before the snow melted!  Up in the mountains, the snow lasted a bit longer. :)
The sun had already melted the snow behind us!
Ready to play!
Luckily, we were able to borrow warm snuggly clothes from the Nashville Shoes since we don't need snow gear in SoCal.  It's nice that Addy and Cassia were both born in October and we could borrow her stuff!
One of my favorite pictures!
The little tiny snowman Daddy and Bailey built!
Bailey, Cassia, and I ended up staying a few extra days while Thomas came back to go with the Campus Ministry interns on a leadership retreat before school started up again.  We were happy to get  to stay and we even got to help Grandpa and Masha celebrate their birthdays!

Decorating sugar cookies rockin' an awesome headband!
I think we played Alphabet Go Fish every night and Bailey quickly learned all of her letters!
Reading to Sissy who loved this swing!
We love you, Nana and Papa!
We had a wonderful trip to Albuquerque!
2012 was a great year and we're excited to see what 2013 will bring!

Happy 90th Birthday!

Grandma Fitzpatrick turned 90 on January 16th!  We decided to celebrate her 90th a little early while we were in town for the holidays.  We went to an Italian restaurant called Trombino's for dinner.  All four of her children were able to be at the party--Joanne flew in from North Carolina to surprise her!  Several of her grandchildren were there and all four of her great-grandchildren were there!
Jeanette, Grandma, John, Joanne, and Marianne
Grandma couldn't believe Joanne was there!
Such a great surprise!
Aunt Jet kept Bailey entertained for the evening.
She and Bailey drew lots of pictures for each other.
Happy 90th Birthday to you!
We put together a book of memories to give Grandma for her birthday.  It was fun to remember back over the years and some of the stories were really funny!  Grandma, we love you so much!!
Brittany, Kaelynn, John, and Jeanette
Katie, Skyler, and Nancy
Masha and Colin
Darrin and John

We love you, Grandma!  Thanks for letting us celebrate a little early!

2nd Christmas

Our 2nd Christmas was with Grandma, Grandpa, Alli, Darrin, Charley, Katie, Skyler, and Masha.
We love Fancy Nancy!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
It was fun to have Charley with us this year!  She enjoyed opening her presents and had a great laugh that morning.
Bailey liked her new outfit so much, she took her pjas right off in the living room and changed!
Paper plate bugs and glitter glue--now we're ready to be crafty!
Bailey had a great Christmas!  Thanks everyone!
Santa (aka Grandma) always fills our stockings with goodies.  Thanks, Santa!  Thomas' Christmas stocking is still playing music--each year he wonders if it will work.  :)
Thomas and Bailey (but mostly Thomas) worked on this gingerbread house!
In the afternoon Great Grandma, Aunt Mar, Uncle Don, Colin and my parents came up for Christmas dinner.  It was nice to get to spend the day with everyone!
These girlies took their baths together and finished off a great day!
