Nana's Visit

Nana got to come out for the Pepperdine Lectures for the first time since she is retired now.  We had such a great time!  Bailey went to the kids classes while we attended the evening lectures and morning classes.  The worship was wonderful and it was great to see friends from all over the country!
Out to dinner at Spruzzo's
Love this spaghetti face!
This is the gym for one of the night lectures.  Lots of people=awesome worship!
 All princess, all girl
Nana and Bailey--love these two so much!
One of our first french braids.  Bailey is finally starting to let me "fix" her hair.
Nana and Bailey spent one morning together going to the park and library.
This statue is just Bailey's size.
We had to take Nana to Duke's for seafood.  We started out sitting outside, but it was freezing so we ended up moving inside.  Taco Tuesday is delicious!
We finished the evening at the Duck Pond and got to see the new ducklings.  We counted 16 ducklings--6 with one mama duck and 10 with the other mama duck!
We're so glad Nana got to come for the Lectures and stay a few extra days.  We're hoping next year that Papa will come with her!

April Tortilla (I mean Wrap Up)

Catching up, again!  We'll get caught up and try and stay caught up.  These are pics from April...
Our little hula hooper
We had dinner one evening with the Fisher family and saw this amazing rainbow.  It was much closer than this picture makes it appear.
Sweet Friends
One Saturday morning, we headed to Smother's Theater for Children's Storybook Theater.  This was Bailey's first theater experience and she loved it!  There were 5 actors who acted out 5 children's stories including one of our favorites, Fancy Nancy.  They were awesome!
Happy Girl ready for the show!
Our sweet friend, Emily and her daughter Abby Jane came to visit from Georgia.  They lived here at Pepperdine when we first moved here and then they moved the summer after Bailey was born.  We miss them so much and it was a treat to see them.
Sophia, Em, Abby Jane, Leslie, Mazzlyn, Katie, Madison, Becca & Bailey (we're missing Lindsay)
Em brought Crumbs cupcakes and I couldn't get all of the girls to look at the camera--too yummy to take a picture break!
Pepperdine's graduation was April 28th and we got to celebrate with Amy and her family!  Amy was Bailey's Bible class teacher this year, she worked as our head MOPS teacher, headed up our House Group, and babysat us for us (and she went to school and graduated!).  She is one of our favorite people!
Amy and her fiance, Josh.  We're excited to get to be a part of their wedding next year!  Bailey is going to be the flower girl and Thomas is going to do the ceremony.
We LOVE Amy!!
What will we do next year without her??
Bailey's CBS class came and sang for us at our last meeting.
 Just precious!

After Easter

Our Jesus Chick Princess trying out her new chalk.
Charley with her Uncle Thomas
Bailey and Grandma
headed to the duck pond to feed the ducks and turtles.
Charley enjoyed watching the ducks!
Flying down the big slide!

Happy Easter

Whoops!  I thought I posted this already, but just had it saved as a draft.  Happy Easter a month later!  We had a great day and were thankful to spend it with our family and church family.
Bailey and Charley's Easter baskets
Lots of fun goodies in her basket
With Grandma and her new teddy bear
Bailey had a great time finding eggs.  She was so funny because she would find an egg and then want to open it and see what was inside instead of finding them all first.
Happiness
After going to Bible class and hearing the Easter story, the children got to hunt more Easter eggs!
Sweet friends--Evelyn, Bailey, and Noelle
Darrin, Allison, Charley, Becca, Thomas, Bailey and Grandma
Sweet family!
After church, we headed up to the park for an Easter picnic with family and friends.
This girl loves to swing!
Grandma and Bailey making Dirt.  Bailey wasn't too sure about it
at first but liked helping with the gummy worms!
We had fun decorating Easter eggs too!
