February Part 1

February was a fun month!  

It started with Thomas (and Linda) taking about 100 students on the Campus Ministry Retreat.  They were in a new location this year, so us girls stayed home and had a girl weekend.  We were glad when Daddy came home!  :)

I turned 32 on the 4th and had a wonderful day!  This was my breakfast in bed~

 I felt very loved with sweet cards, presents, phone calls, and messages.  Thomas took the day off after being gone for the weekend which was a treat.  We headed up to the outlet mall for some shopping and to Applebee's for lunch.  The day ended with my mom coming in to town to help Bailey and me celebrate our birthdays--an extra special treat!

 Nana made this fun quilt for Bailey's room.  It turned out really cute!

 Cassia is happy sitting up so she can watch what's going on around her.  This is a great dimple picture too!

 She's holding up her head really well.  Her eyes are dark--I'm pretty sure they are going to be brown.

 Bailey and Daddy went to their first Father Daughter Dance put on by Malibu Pres Church!  Getting a fancy hair-do for the special evening.

 Nana brought the girls sweet Valentine dresses.

 My cousin, Leslie, and her family came to visit us for the day while they were on vacation in San Diego.  We hadn't seen Lailah since she was about 3 months old and she'll be 2 in May!  It was fun to catch up and let the girls play together.

We decided to let Bailey open a few presents early since she had so many!

 We Facetimed with Papa so he could be in on the present opening too!

She wanted us to put the present behind her back so she could "guess" what is was.

February Wrap up

Well, as you can see, I'm really behind.  My computer has not been cooperating and it's been a little crazy these past few weeks (or should I say months)!  Here is our February wrap in June...

Bailey started ballet class the Friday after her birthday and loved it!  Here she is skipping and marching.  She loves that her friends Evelyn and Abby are in the class too!

We pulled out the jumper and Cassia was happy to try it out.  She's become quite the little jumper.

Sophie the Giraffe came out this month as Cassia wanted to chew and put anything and everything in her mouth.

On to March...

4 Months Old

I'm going to attempt to catch up...we're only a few months behind!

Cassia turned 4 months old on February 6th.  At her 4 month check up she weighed in at 17 lbs. 7 oz. and was 26 inches long!  She's off the charts for weight and head circumference and in the 90th percentile for height=healthy baby!

Tummy time isn't so bad!  Naked baby and her sweet rolls.

 Cassia started to giggle/laugh/chuckle at us.  On my birthday when we were driving home, Cassia was crying.  Bailey started making funny faces and silly noises and Cassia started belly laughing at her for the first time.  It was awesome!

 She's blowing bubbles--sometimes spit bubbles.

 Cassia is so close to rolling over from her back to her front, but her arm is in the way.  She's trying to turn and see what Bailey is doing.

 Sweet little face.  She's starting to grow into her cheeks. :)
