Bailey Videos

3 Months Old

Bailey turned 3 months old on the 13th.  Her newest thing is to kick her legs around and turn on her side (the top two pics).  It may not be long before she figures out how to roll over!  In the middle pictures, Bailey is wearing the sweet bonnet and sweater that her Great Gramie and Papa sent her (and you can see the cute booties in the last picture).    She had lots of compliments about them at church on Sunday and it was chilly enough here for her to get to wear them!
We are so excited to be going to Albuquerque on Saturday to visit our families!  It will be Bailey's first trip and time on the airplane.  She will get to meet most of her family because so many of them are coming to Albuquerque at the same time (mini family reunion :) or already live there.  She will also get to meet our church family at Mountainside.  Albuquerque--here we come!

12 Weeks

Bailey turned 12 weeks old on Friday and will be 3 months old on Wednesday!  Wow!  She is doing great and we are enjoying her so much.  This last week she found her hands and loves to suck on her right hand.  Tonight she got her thumb and 2 of her fingers in her mouth.  She is laughing more and loves when we make silly sounds.  She loves to look at her books and when she gets excited she kicks her legs and waves her arms around.
We had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday.  It was so special to get to stand up during church because I am a mom now.  All of the mothers were blessed with scripture and prayed over.  We are so thankful for our own Moms and Grandmas and we love them so very much!!  We are looking forward to seeing them all in less than two weeks!

Sweet Friends

We just had a wonderful week with our sweet friends, Jessie and Garrett and their boys, Ethan and Shane.  They came to visit us and attend the Pepperdine Lectures.  As you can see, we made it to the beach, but Garrett was the only one to get really wet.  Thomas and Ethan made a sand shark and then Garrett buried Ethan in the sand.  We saw dolphins and had a great time.
During the Lectures, we attended several of the classes and almost all of the main lectures.  We went to the ZOE Group worship time on Thursday night, which was so awesome.  Thomas taught one class on Friday morning (and did an excellent job!).  Bailey slept through most of the morning sessions and during the night lectures, so it was easy to take her along with us.
We enjoyed getting to spend extra time together and now our house feels empty!
