Fall

We are loving Fall!  

We enjoyed a night at Pepperdine's Blue and Orange Madness which is a huge carnival to kick off basketball season.   Here is our little Rapunzel.

 Our first visit to the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival--so fun!

We had a great time at Evelyn's 4th birthday party!  Here is Bailey with her sweet friend, Noelle.

Grandma's Visit

Grandma came for a weekend visit and we had a great time!  We picked her up at the airport Saturday morning and headed over to the Griffith Observatory.  The view from the Observatory is pretty amazing--you can see almost all of Los Angeles.  The Hollywood sign is up in the hills behind us.

 Disneyland!  We couldn't pass up a day at Disneyland with Grandma.  We had a fun day and the weather was beautiful.  The park was decorated for Halloween which was neat.

 We learned how to be a princess and got to see Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Snow White.

 The parade was so awesome!!  We had front row seats and at least one of the characters from each float waved at Bailey as they passed by.  She waved at all of them and was just in awe of the characters, the floats, and the dancers.

Thank you, Grandma for coming to visit!  We love you!

Rewind

We've got some catching up to do!  Rewind back to September. 

We had a bittersweet week as our friends stayed with us before they moved to Indiana.  It was sad to have to say goodbye to them a second time, but we are so thankful for the extra time we were able to spend together.

 Bailey and Darien are sweet friends and had a great time playing together. 

 We miss you, Trina, Darien, AJ, Keenan and Don!

We were able to go to the Campus Ministry Retreat and had a great weekend.  Here is Bailey helping Daddy with water balloon volleyball.

This girl loves to sing and one of the best things to hear is her worshiping the Lord.  She's already a Chris Tomlin fan and is singing "Our God is stronger, God you are higher than any other..."

The last weekend of September I was able to go to our church's Women's Retreat.  We had a wonderful weekend and it was especially special because our guest speaker was my friend, Donna.  She flew in from Houston and spoke about Pursuit.  I'm so thankful for this incredible group of women!

We had one day with quite the rainstorm.  It rained all day long and Bailey was excited to put on her galoshes and rain coat.  Our sweet friend, Miss Amy, was brave enough to go out in the blowing rain with Bailey.  They stood out there long enough to get their jackets wet and then came back in.
