Shoemakers

Nana, Papa, Gramie and Papa Shoe came to visit us during Nana's Spring Break. We had a wonderful visit and started out by celebrating Nana's birthday! Bailey blew out her candles for her and then enjoyed eating whoopie pie!
We were able to check several things off our L.A. bucket list: (1) seeing the Hollywood sign as close as possible without hiking up to it!
(2) Eating at Pink's, where people stand in line forever just to get a hot dog! Luckily, the day we went we just had to wait about 15 minutes.
We found the house that my Papa's aunt used to live in. He would come and visit her for a month during the summertime. (#3 for my dad and Papa)
Playing at Tranchas Park

(4) We've lived in Malibu for almost 4 years and have never toured the Adamson House. It's a beautiful house with so much history about Malibu. We couldn't take any pictures inside the house, but the tile work and attention to details were amazing.

Pretty awesome view from their balcony!
(5) We also got to visit the Ronald Reagan Library and Museum which was really interesting. It's definitely a place we could visit again because I'm sure we missed a lot (having a 2 year old and a bigger crowd on a Saturday). Getting to see Air Force One was fun!
Giddy up, horsey!

Ready for the rain!

We enjoyed venturing out and checking off a few more items from our list! Thanks for a great visit! We love you!

Watson Wedding

We were so excited to attend Jordan and Chrissy's wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony with the best background!
Love this little face!

We also loved getting to see sweet friends and Pepperdine grads!

Fun!

Thomas and I are totally loving this age. Bailey is so much fun and keeps us laughing. Some of her latest phrases include:
*"Yook, Daddy, yook" when she wants us to look at something.
*"I yove you!" (melts your heart)
*When we were having dinner with Patti and Craig one night, Bailey says, "I want sum budder." We asked her where she wanted some butter and she very matter-of-factly said, "On my fork!"

Her newest find--a stool to stand on, so she can reach higher (usually for the snacks in the pantry that used to be out of her reach!).
We got to spend the end of Spring Break in Temecula with Craig and Patti. Bailey loved going to the park!

Climbing up the hill after she threw the basketball down the hill (and it was a big hill).
I know, I know, she needs a barrette in her hair. Our big girl has decided she likes to eat her breakfast at the counter instead of in her highchair.
Bailey loves to ride her trike while wearing her ladybug helmet!
We love you, Bailey! Thanks for all of the fun you add to our lives!

Ketchup

Time for a little "ketchup"! February just flew past me... Here is a bit of a recap.
These are sweet friends that helped celebrate my birthday (my 30th!) by making cupcakes and dinner for me (and yes, in that order!).
The morning of my birthday I was asked to come to Cross Creek park and was surprised by a sweet gathering of friends. The kids all got to play and the mommies got to catch up. Thanks, Kim, for organizing such a sweet celebration!
Daddy and Bailey took a trip to the new Tranchas Park and had so much fun!
Howdy y'all
Riding with Claire
After lunch one afternoon, Bailey wanted to show Daddy her yogurt mustache so we took a picture to show him. Funny girl!
Playing store with Daddy is one of her favorite things to do after dinner.
Bailey's other new favorite game to play:
Bailey enjoyed a weekend with Nana while Mommy and Daddy took a little trip over the weekend. They had so much fun together, but I didn't get any pictures!
Well, that should ketch-us-up from February with March pictures coming soon!
