April Happenings

This is our House Group that came over on Tuesday nights throughout the year.  All but 4 of these students were freshmen.  We really enjoyed getting to know them and walk alongside them this year.  We'll miss a lot of them as they go abroad to study next year!

This is the grass that we grew!  We gave
this chick several haircuts. :)

We joined friends at Underwood Family Farm to pick strawberries!  It was a beautiful day and Bailey did a great job picking berries.  My friend, Rebecca, and I saw a snake as we were walking out to the field so I ended up nursing Cassia on one of the tractor trailers that was out there (I didn't want to take a chance sitting on the ground!).

And this month, Cassia started sitting up on her own!  She's pretty happy being able to see the world from this vantage point!

Happy 4th Birthday, Bailey!

Bailey turned 4 on February 13th!  What a sweet and joyful blessing Bailey is to our family.  I'm amazed at how quickly 4 years goes by!

Let the fun day begin...

 presents, presents, presents!  This little girl had so many presents to open!  Thank you all for her sweet gifts!

 Bailey really wanted to give ballet a try so here are her new ballet slippers and leotard!

 After present opening, we headed up to Baxter Park for Bailey's Ice Cream Cone Birthday Party.

 After lunch, we had a scavenger hunt to find the toppings for ice cream sundaes.  The toppings were hidden in different spots around the park.

 Fun gifts from sweet friends

 Bailey's fun day ended with camping out in the living room with Daddy!  He pitched the tent and they slept in their sleeping bags.

My friend, Holly, is an amazing photographer.  And she's so great to work with.

She has started up her own business and we are blessed to get to be a part of her portfolio.  She did Cassia's newborn pictures, our family pictures, and these 6 month pictures.  I'm so sad that she's moving to Texas in August.  What are we going to do without our personal photographer??
