Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We have enjoyed spending time with both of our families! Here is the first of a few Christmas posts...
Enjoying books with Papa
We spent Christmas Eve together with the Shoemaker and Fitzpatrick families.
Bailey loved helping pass out gifts to everyone and seeing what was inside.
Love this face!
Ready to cook up a storm!

We love books!

Christmas morning was at Gee-pa and Gee-ma's house.
Bailey was happy/proud to help pass out the gifts.

Grandma made Bailey a very special book about being together at heart even though we don't live close to each other.

Reading her new book with Auntie Katie and Uncle Skyler.
More to come...

December

Bailey and I went over to the Lawrence's one morning to help make chocolate covered pretzels and AJ was the master chef. Delicious (or as Bailey would say "Galicious")!
Sweet Grammy Pat reading a story to Bailey.
Our small group of cookie exchangers this year. Several were out of town and we missed them!
Our church had our annual Christmas celebration on Sunday night. Bailey was a Friendly Beast (one of the animals in the stable) in the Nativity story. Here she is saying "Cheese" before going up on stage. Our little video clip isn't uploading right now, but hopefully I can get it up soon.

Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by our party and Bailey was very excited to see Santa (although the look on her face here doesn't show it)! Mrs. Susan made an excellent Mrs. Claus!!!
We are spending Christmas in Albuquerque and are having so much fun! More pictures to come...

Merry, Merry Christmas!

22 Months

22 Months and lovin' it! Our baby has turned into a little girl and she is so much fun. She is talking up a storm and is saying new words everyday. Some of her newest words are "quesadilla," "crocodile," and "Baby Jesus". She is also singing up a storm. Her favorite songs are "ABCs," "Twinkle, Twinkle," "Jesus Loves Me," "The BIBLE," "You Are My Sunshine," and "EIEIO" with a sheep and a duck being the only animals on the farm! It's so fun to listen to her singing in her crib when she wakes up in the morning or after she's eaten breakfast. Here are a few pictures from the past two weeks:
Her daddy is her favorite person in the whole world.
This picture just makes me laugh. I'm trying to get us out the door and I come around the corner and Bailey has this hat on and her mess all over the stairs.
Opening an early Christmas gift. Thank you Amber and Josh for my fruit for my kitchen!
The clouds were just sitting on top of the ocean one morning--so beautiful!
Last Sunday, it was so nice and warm so Bailey got to wear her beautiful dress from Great-Grandma. No smile, but a pretty girl!
"Reading" magazines

It's Almost Christmas!

I am behind in my posting and I know it's almost Christmas, but I have to backtrack and post our pictures from Thanksgiving! Nana and Papa came to celebrate Thanksgiving with us this year and we drove down to Temecula to join the Carnes Family for the weekend (it's officially a tradition when you do it two years in a row!).
Before we hit the road, we stopped at the new Legacy Park in Malibu. There were all kinds of fun creatures to check out around the park.

We also ate at our new favorite restaurant and spotted Dean Cain at the table next to us!
We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving feast on Thursday! We were glad to spend time with Art and Ada too. We missed Chad!
Thank you, Patti and Craig, for hosting all of us! We had a great time and appreciate you!
Off to the park for some fun. Bailey loved going down the slide with Papa-they went over and over and over again!

We headed back to Malibu Friday night and got up Saturday morning for Bailey's music class at Gymboree. She loves Ms. Kyla and getting to play all of the instruments!

We had a great time with Nana and Papa! Thanks for spending Thanksgiving with us. We can't wait to see you in just a few days!

Bailey Bu

We have a little singer!
All day today, she sang "The B-I-B-L-E" song. Of course, trying to get her to sing it while the camera is on is another story.
After reading a book about zebras...

Thank you!

Dear Nana, Papa, Grandma, and Grandpa,
Thank you so much for my play kitchen! I love it and have been busy making all kinds of yummy things. I love you all very much!
XOXO,
Bailey
