VBS (Vacation Bible School) at The Hills is called Summer Spectacular and it has this name for a reason! The theme and lessons this year where all about Noah. The church was completely transformed into the ark--the hallways and classrooms were completely decorated, the foyer was filled with animals in their pens, and (as you can see) the rainbow behind us made out of balloons!
We went 3 evenings to Bible classes and then to "The Show" (as Bailey called it) where many of the talented people from church acted out the story of Noah. This picture of the ark doesn't do it justice.
The amazing children's minister puts everything together and she goes above and beyond! There was a petting zoo to go through after the show--really?!? Yes, really!
The costumes were also amazing and the characters were giving out autographs after the show!

This is Mr. Charley--one of Bailey's favorite people. He was a great tiger!
