Seeing as March is only a day away, I have to get caught up! Back to December! Lots of pictures ahead...
We got into Albuquerque on the 19th and Nana had a gingerbread house waiting for us.
Daddy and Bailey started out decorating, but Bailey didn't stay with the project for too long. She said she wasn't having any fun at one point, so Mommy helped Daddy finish up!
Here is our finished house
Papa and Cassia
Bailey was so excited for Christmas and told everyone that we were going to have 2 Christmases--one with Nana and Papa and one with Grandma and Grandpa!
We had an early Christmas with Nana and Papa on Saturday the 22nd. Papa had to work that day, so we went to the Natural History Museum that morning. It was pretty empty when we got there and we enjoyed getting to explore.
We got to watch a show in the Planetarium with Elmo and Big Bird about the stars, Big Dipper, and Little Dipper.
We enjoyed the room where you get to touch everything and check out the animals.
Bailey loved looking through the microscope at different objects. She could have sat there for a few hours I think!
I like looking at snakes behind glass!
Our 1st Christmas...and really Cassia's 1st Christmas!
Bailey loved passing out presents again this year and helping everyone open their presents!
Sweet smile!
Nana made this hat for Cassia. It came in handy since it was so cold!
Here, Papa, let me help you with that!
Thank you, Gramie and Papa Shoe, for my ballerina paper dolls book!
Ready to play store with her new cash register!
Thank you, Nana and Papa for my new baby doll!
Thanks to Addy, Milly, Jenny and Uncle Shoe for my Madeline doll and books!
Butterfly wings!
My dad opening Uncle Rick's present this year--always so funny to see what they get each other!
My mom gave me a beautiful set of Beatrix Potter figurines that Grammie had collected for me when I was little. Mom had saved them away and it was really special to open them. Mom knew they were collector's items and some of them date back to the 1940s. Thank you, Grammie and Mom!
Thomas with his golf ball retriever and sleeping Cassia!
A sweet sleeper slept through some of our gift opening!
Thank you, Shoe Crew, for my Violet puppy! I really love how she sings to me!
I love this picture of Bailey reading in her bloomers!
Merry Christmas Eve from our sweet girl!
