September

I'm excited to knock out the rest of September in one post-it's a little long though!
We headed out to Alumni Park the evening before September 11th to walk through the flag memorial Pepperdine puts up each year.  There is a flag for everyone who was lost on 9/11.  It's a humbling experience every time.
Bailey ran with abandon to the flags.
We remember.
On September 11th, Bailey started preschool at Malibu Presbyterian Nursery School!  She loved it and said her favorite parts of the day were music and art!
September is usually when the weather starts to cool off a bit and you know fall is on its way, but in Malibu it's still summer!  It was so warm here and we had a play in the sprinklers kind of day!
It's hard to tell from these pictures, but Cassia is sitting in the sprinkler just getting soaked and loving it!
She's on the move and getting faster!
Sorry for a little nudity!  I just couldn't resist taking this picture!  Bailey loves to play in the sprinklers, but with an umbrella!
We got to bring home Sugarfoot, the preschool's pet bunny, for the weekend.  She is a sweet bunny and it was fun, but she had to stay in our garage or backyard because Thomas is allergic and she was shedding like crazy!
These two LOVE music!  Here they are making their own...
One afternoon Thomas came home from work and said, "Let's go to the beach!"  It was a beautiful day and we had a lovely walk on the beach.  Bailey found some great treasures too.
Thank you, God that we can enjoy your beautiful creation!
Bailey decided to make her own dress out of wrapping paper scraps!  With some help from Daddy, here is the finished product.
I'm saving this just in case one day she decides to become a fashion designer. ;)
Cassia has figured out how to climb up the stairs!
This is one of my favorite things-to find Cassia "reading" her books!
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
And then Bailey joined her!  So sweet!
That wraps up September in December!  Hopefully October pictures will be coming soon!
