Bailey is 17 (and a half) months old and keeps us on our toes! She is at such a fun age and she makes us laugh a lot.
Bailey is talking so much. She is trying to repeat what we say, sometimes very clearly and sometimes in her own language. Instead of saying "yes" she has put "sure" and "yeah" together as her own word "shayah". I'll ask her, "Bailey, do you want to go outside?" and she'll say, "Shayah!". At the pool the other day there were some bees flying around us. As I was telling the bees to go away, Bailey started saying, "Go bees go. Go, go, go!" Some of her words are very clear like cereal, bug, and night night.
She loves water, being outside, looking for bugs, lizards, and the neighborhood cat. She loves music, to sing songs, and to dance. She loves to "draw" with chalk and to ride her little bike (she sits, we push her around). She loves to watch and play with other children whether we are with friends, at church, at Gymboree, at the park, or just out and about.
Did I mention that Bailey loves water? Recently, we went to a splash playground with our friends and Bailey loved it. The water would spray out of the ground and from up above--there was lots of splashing and a soaking wet girl!
Taking a snack break with Darien, Trina, Keenan, and AJ.
Bailey still loves Grandma's special sauce!
