Yo and Strawberries

I can't believe a whole month went by without one post!  Time for some major catch up!
Back to the beginning of July...
One of my dad's "must-dos" is to give his granddaughters their first taste of ice cream.  He gave Bailey her first bite and now he's given Cassia hers.  She, of course, loved it!
We love Bu Yo!!
Bailey decided she wanted a snow cone instead of yogurt.  It was huge so we all helped her finish it off!
Our newest find this summer was the Thorne Family Farm right here in Malibu!  We went several times to pick delicious blueberries and strawberries.
Let's start picking!
We also went to look at the horses and donkeys at the back of the property...
and then we heard what sounded like a waterfall.  Thomas decided to check it out and came across a huge pond with a beautiful waterfall.  I wasn't so sure if we should be "venturing off" but we followed him and found a path that led us up the hill to more waterfalls.
The hillside was just gorgeous and very well manicured.  The property was amazing!
So come to find out, when we got back to the farm to buy our strawberries, the land we had "trespassed" into is owned by some Disney executive whose wife only comes by every once in a while.    We were bummed that this wasn't part of the farm because we really wanted to go back with a picnic lunch.  The fact that a Disney exec owned it made total sense--the property was like being in Pixie Hollow where Tinkerbell lives!
