A Few Things

Time to catch up a bit more!  There are a few things that I don't have pictures for but that I want to write down and remember.  The end of the school year brought lots of sweet visitors our way.  Ariann Smith came and stayed with us for a few days after returning from her year abroad in Italy!  Sharayah Newton also came to stay with us for a few days to go to graduation.  She went to Switzerland for the year.  Bailey was so excited to play with Sharayah that she said, "I'm as happy as a cricket!".  The next week our friend, Jason Burnett, came and stayed with us during the Bible Lectures.  He and Thomas were interns together at the Student Center when we were in college.  We had a great time with Jason and hope that next year he'll bring his wife, Laura, with him!

A few other fun things that happened ~
*We celebrated Reuben and Emily's upcoming marriage in August with a church shower.
 *Cassia slept straight through the night (8pm to 7am) for the first time without nursing or any paci plugs!
*While playing with Daddy, Bailey said, "You won!  You win a blue ribbon, a t-shirt, and a new pair of black shoes!"
*We attended Zach Reed's graduation party.  He is a great guy and we're excited for his sister to be a freshman here in August!
*We attended Pepperdine's Bible Lectures--the 70th year!  We heard some wonderful speakers and got to see friends from all over the country.
