Thomas and our friend Chris decided to take on our kitchen cabinets as their weekend project! It was amazing how quickly they worked--by Friday night they had all of the base cabinet, island, and many of the doors and drawers sanded and painted. By Saturday afternoon, all but 7 doors were sanded and painted and they were rehanging doors and putting in drawers. Over the next week, Thomas sanded and painted the other doors and by the following Sunday evening the cabinets were done! (I thought this project would take weeks and weeks!) Our kitchen is so much brighter and I just love it! Now, we are just waiting on getting approval to redo the counter tops and get a new sink. HGTV is a great inspiration! :)
