Amy is one of our favorite people.
She was one of our Campus Ministry students that graduated last year. We loved her from the start--as a freshman she studied the Bible with Linda and was baptized, she was super involved in CM, and she even came over and helped me clean the house when Bailey was first born! She became a CM intern, taught Bailey's Bible school class at church, was our House Group leader, was the lead teacher for the kids at MOPS, and was one of Bailey's favorite babysitters (all this while she went to school and dated Josh who was going to school in NC!).
So we were really excited when she got engaged last year and asked Thomas to do the wedding and Bailey to be the flower girl!
We ventured out to Denver, Colorado the weekend of March 22nd for Amy and Josh's wedding. That weekend it was freezing cold and snowed at least a foot the night we got there!
Bailey and Daddy were happy to try out the pool at the hotel. It was snowy and cold outside, but nice and warm in the pool!

We enjoyed getting to meet Amy and Josh's families at the rehearsal and rehearsal lunch on Saturday. After the rehearsal, Bailey went upstairs to look at Amy's wedding dress. When they came back downstairs Bailey said, "I got to see Amy's dress AND her alarm clock!" Later she also said, "I wonder what Josh will look like in his suit because I haven't seen that yet." :)
The wedding was Sunday afternoon and by then the roads were cleared.
The wedding was at this incredible venue--the Highlands Ranch Mansion was just beautiful!

Amy and Josh had so many special touches that they did themselves. They found these old windows, painted them, and then wrote out the seating chart on each pane.
Amy made the centerpiece fabric squares and Josh made the planter boxes on each table.

Playing Cornhole--a new favorite game where you toss the beanbags into the hole. Josh made and painted the cornhole boxes too!
Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson!
Thanks so much for asking Bailey to be part of your special day!
Bailey had so much fun dancing with Skyler and Lexi!

Beautiful couple, wedding, and day! We were thankful to get to be a part of it!
