We started out the month giving Cassia her first bites of baby food. We tried oatmeal cereal hoping it would help with her spitting up and sleeping better at night. She sucked it down like she had been eating for weeks!
Unfortunately, Cassia also figured out how to start spitting about a week and a half after we started feeding her and would spit the oatmeal right back out at us (me!). So we decided to wait a little longer and try solid food again in a few more weeks.
Bailey is more and more interested in helping out in the kitchen and on this afternoon I was making granola bars. Bailey asked if she could make a special concoction (she did this with Amber when she was visiting back in December).
This concoction ended up having water, sesame seeds, ice cubes, flour, sugar, powdered sugar, sunflower seeds, oats, salt, pepper, and a tomato! She didn't want to try it--I don't know why?? :)
Busy chef making a great mess!
These are our aprons that Amber made for us for our birthdays. They are really cute and come in handy! (It only took me 4 months to post a picture for you, Amber!)
These were my sleepy heads when we got home one afternoon.
Just plain sweetness
Here is Bailey in her flowergirl dress that Nana made her for Amy and Josh's wedding. It turned out so cute!

Thanks for posting the apron picture! Y'all look so cute :) Love Bailey's concoction- I don't know where she gets these ideas ;)
I think I actually gave you the aprons for your birthdays, so you're really not that far behind. Love you!
You are right! The aprons were for our birthdays! I'm only 4 months behind!
